Calculators

Medicare Part D Prescription Drug Plan Finder

Finding a prescription drug plan can be difficult because each Medicare Prescription Drug Plan has its own list of covered drugs (called a formulary). Many Medicare drug plans place drugs into different “tiers” on their formularies. Drugs in each tier have a different cost. This calculator, provided by the government, allows you to input your current medications and then immediately see a list of available plans in your area. It shows you all of the costs associated with each plan and how to enroll or directly contact the plan provider with further questions.

Social Security Benefit Calculator

Provided by the Social Security Administration (SSA), this calculator allows you to estimate your future Social Security benefits based on your current and projected earnings. Though it’s only an estimate, this tool can tell you exactly what the effects on your benefits will be of, for example, cutting back on your work hours or even postponing your retirement.

Life Insurance Calculator

Life insurance is generally a part of every estate plan. If you have loved ones who count on you to care for them, you should carry life insurance. But, how much do you need? By answering a few simple questions about yourself, this calculator will provide you with an estimate of how much life insurance coverage would be best for your situation.

Reverse Mortgage Calculator

A reverse mortgage is a unique FHA-Insured loan that enables homeowners (62+) to convert part of the equity in their homes into cash without having to sell the home, give up title, or take on a new monthly mortgage payment. Reverse mortgages can be used to pay off existing mortgages to improve monthly cash flow, supplement other retirement incomes, or put in a line of credit and used at a future time for a variety of needs.
